You don't have to be a doofus

A couple of months back I was getting cheesed off at Edu-Twitter. So I did what any self-respecting teacher-crusader would do. I cowered behind my screen and wrote an anonymous blog for another site. (Thanks, Sarah!).

Why did I choose anonymity in that moment?

Essentially, I didn't want to be accused of reacting to any particular Twitter ding-dong, lest this be perceived as a personal attack. It's no such thing. It was written 12-or-so weeks ago and I've waited for a lull in order to unmask, but I have ultimately decided that no such lull is forthcoming.

So, here it is, wittily re-entitled 'You don't have to be a doofus'
